I'm Louise and I've been a fresh flower florist for 39 years. For the First 14 Years in Essex, and for the rest in the Heart of Suffolk in Bury St Edmunds.

Even though fresh flowers are my first love,  I was becoming evermore frustrated with the rising costs of fresh flowers and the short-term nature of them. Outdoor Ceremonies were increasingly becoming more popular and I wanted to create Luxury wedding florals without the massive cost but moreover, I wanted to create something that would last the day in full sunshine without wilting that could be used in one place and moved to another to maximise the versatility of them. Giving the bride more value for money. I didn't want to create beautiful florals only to have to go back the next day to just put them in the bin. These beautiful arches are too big for brides to take home and it breaks my heart to see them just die. So, I scoured the universe to find the most realistic Faux flowers you could find, not only to look like the real thing, but to even feel like the real thing. So, after a lot of deliberation (my family and friends can second this), I decided to bite the bullet and set up Fleur De Lys Floral Event Hire.
